Join us for an unforgettable celebration at the Wharf Pub in Edgartown, MA, as we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the iconic film Jaws. From June 20th to 22nd, step back into the thrilling world of Amity Island and mingle with fellow fans and Jeffrey Voorhees, who famously portrayed Alex Kintner in the film, and other special guests.

Held at the Wharf Pub in Martha’s Vineyard, this event is organized and sponsored by Michael Fulcher from Eyedeas.net Inc., in collaboration with Narragansett Brewery and our other distinguished sponsors below.

A remarkable lineup of individuals will be joining us for the 50th Anniversary celebration of JAWS.

Jeffrey Voorhees: Known for his role as Alex Kintner, Jeffrey Voorhees became a beloved figure as the young boy from Amity Island. His portrayal continues to charm fans worldwide, and his presence promises to add a special touch to our celebration.

Jeffrey Kramer: Famously recognized as Hendricks, the suave and endearing deputy sheriff, Jeffrey Kramer became a fan favorite with his unique flair that added depth to the film.

Joe Alves: The legendary production designer whose visionary talent was pivotal in bringing JAWS to life. Without Joe Alves, the cherished film might not exist as it does today.

Dennis Prince: Acclaimed author Dennis Prince will launch his new book, Adventures in Film Design, alongside Joe Alves. This collaboration promises to offer fresh insights into the art of filmmaking.

Carl Gottlieb: Celebrated screenwriter, actor, and comedian, Carl Gottlieb joins us virtually to share his incredible insights. Known for co-writing the script for JAWS, Carl played a pivotal role in transforming Peter Benchley’s novel into an iconic screenplay. Fans have the exciting opportunity to secure a signed copy of The Jaws Log, his renowned behind-the-scenes account.

Greg Nicotero: Renowned special effects makeup artist and director, Greg Nicotero is widely recognized for his remarkable work on The Walking Dead. Inspired by the groundbreaking effects in JAWS, Greg restored "Bruce," the mechanical shark, now displayed at the Los Angeles Museum, preserving this piece of cinematic history.

The Searle Brothers: Jonathan and Stephen Searle famously pranked beachgoers with a fake shark fin in JAWS, creating a memorable scene. Today, Jonathan serves as the Chief of Police in Oak Bluffs, while Stephen enjoys retirement from the Navy. Both brothers are cherished for their contribution to the film's legacy.

Gary Springer: Known for his role as "Andy" in JAWS 2, Gary Springer adeptly navigated a cast change during production. Transitioning from acting, he became an entertainment publicist, representing independent and foreign films, and playing a significant role in Broadway shows and the Academy Awards.

Marty Milner: A captivating storyteller, Marty Milner will share his experiences working on JAWS as a crew member who contributed as a carpenter and handyman. Attendees can explore his stunning watercolor artwork, which will be available for purchase.

Dr. Greg Skomal: A distinguished marine biologist specializing in great white sharks, Dr. Skomal has been with the Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries since 1987. An avid SCUBA diver and underwater photographer, he has authored over 100 scientific papers and several notable books, including The Shark Handbook.

Kimberly Baker: A delightful islander, Kimberly Baker will showcase an exclusive collection of behind-the-scenes photographs taken by her mother, Patricia Vann. These captivating snapshots offer a unique glimpse into the making of JAWS.

Christopher Shaw Myers: Nephew of the legendary Robert Shaw, Christopher will engage with fans and sign his new book, offering a heartfelt tribute to his "Uncle Quint" and the legacy intertwined with the making of JAWS.
